Voucher Snap end users are some of the largest timeshare corporations on planet earth. Our existing clientele's IT departments had the same concerns that your IT department will most likely have. Most if not all these concerns have already been successfully addressed by our existing clientelle allowing their accounting and marketing departments to take full advantage of all that Voucher Snap can offer.

Our software engineers and support personnel are more like a separate department within your own IT department than some remote out of touch third party software vendor.

Questions your IT Department will have:

Is Voucher Snap installed on proprietary hardware or can we use our existing hardware? With the exception of specialized thermal printers and optional credit card processing hardware Voucher Snap is installed on your existing hardware.

Who does the hardware maintenance? Your IT personnel are responsible for all hardware, networking and routine maintenance issues.

Who provides software support? Our help desk personnel provide software support for your IT personnel, accounting managers, guest service managers and your internal help desk personnel. Our software engineers work with anyone or everyone concerned if issues arise concerning the software itself.

Is the POS and Back Office Software installed on a stand alone basis on on a virtual server? Depending on your business requirements Voucher Snap can be installed on a stand alone basis, on a virtual server basis or both at the same time, it's up to you based on what works best for you.

Who's in charge of network security issues? Your IT department has full control of any security issues.

Can Voucher Snap personnel gain access to our servers? Only under direct the supervision of the networking people in your IT department. When setting up new sites or troubleshooting network issues it becomes necessary for our people to gain access to Voucher Snap data located on your server. Voucher Snap personnel don't have network permission or network pass codes issued to them therefore we have to gain access under your direct supervision. Our software engineers and help desk personnel have a through understand of our clients security protocol and why they must be observed and maintained.

Does Voucher Snap own the data produced by the software? All data produced by Voucher Snap Point of Sale or Back Office Software is stored on your hardware and owned by you.
 
Does Voucher Snap integrate with third party software vendors? First a little history, in 1992 when Voucher Snap was first created it was written in DOS and had no integration with third party software vendors. In those days Voucher Snap was installed on a separate stand alone computer used solely as a Point of Sale device.

As hardware and software technology progressed over the years Voucher Snap was re-written in a Windows 32 bit object based language that enabled us to take advantage of additional functionality provided by third party software vendors that met Windows compliancy standards.  

The integration into the Windows environment provided the ability to install Voucher Snap on our clients existing hardware and to take advantage of third party software products and services that have added functionality to Voucher Snap.
