Voucher Snap Pass Codes
Point of Sale Pass Codes
Anyone accessing Voucher Snap Point of Sale or Back Office Software must have a pass code in order to access any functionality. At the Point of Sale there are two types of pass codes, the operator pass code and the manager pass code.
When an operator starts their shift they must enter their pass code before access is granted. Tracking commissionable sales is accomplished by sales records including the operator's name that made the sale. Everything the operator does during a shift has their name on it.
Site specific setup tables determine whether a pass code is required before each sale. This is generally the case whenever a sales site is operated by more than one operator.
A manager's pass code is required in order for the Point of Sale to receive cash or inventory transfers. These types of transactions are tracked very closely and each of these transfers will automatically produce documentation requiring signatures from the operator and manager. Individual site specific setup tables have multiple functionality choices concerning operator and manager access rights.
Back Office Pass Codes
The pass code used to gain access to the back office operational accounting software has 40 levels of access rights per individual pass code. The pass codes for someone in accounting may or may not allow access to sales reporting. Marketing personnel in Myrtle Beach who do have access to sales reporting for their district don't automatically have access to Orlando's sales reporting. Each and every function of the back office software is governed by access rights provide by an individual's pass code.
